Ana Magana

Executive Director

Ana Magana has served as the Executive Director at the Professional Family Child Care Alliance of Georgia since June 2022.

 

Ana brings a wide variety of skills and more than ten years of international work experience from her years in multi-national companies in Mexico.

 

Ana has a background in public relations, sales, marketing, and customer service. Ana has a BA in Marketing from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterey, Campus Chihuahua, an MBA in Business Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua in Mexico, and a certification in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School Online.

 

Ana previously worked with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Rental Assistance Program. Additionally, she worked as Program Coordinator for the Early Learning Substitute Teacher Program with the United Way of Greater Atlanta at the Education Department. Ana’s knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Education has given her a high level of expertise in the project management and coordination of the Program. Her additional abilities helped to support the development and launch of a pilot program in August 2014.

 

Ana is a graduate of the Early Learning Substitute Teacher Program’s Spanish track in 2011, and she earned a Child Development Associate Credential in 2011. She worked as a classroom teacher in a Sheltering Arms for Kids-Buford center for close to a year.

 

Ana was a board member of the Early Childhood Care and Education Committee at Atlanta Technical College and has been an active volunteer in numerous non-profit organizations in Atlanta.

 

Ana’s enthusiasm and experience empower her passion for the early childhood education field.
