Verizon Small Business Recovery Fund, apply by April 28th!

• Verizon via the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is providing grants of up to $10,000 to businesses facing immediate financial pressure because of COVID-19.

• These grants are targeted towards women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs of color.

• The application process is simple.

• None of the questions are confusing or complicated.

• You will be required to upload a copy of your last Schedule C near the end.

• Although the instructions state that you will receive a copy of your application at the end, that was not the case for some applicants.

• Acceptance is not guaranteed. All of the applications will be reviewed and then entered into a lottery.

• The grants are designed to help business owners fill urgent financial gaps - from paying rent to meeting payroll - until they can resume normal operations or other financing becomes available.
