Survey highlights the demand for non-traditional hour care

In November of 2019, Quality Care for Children and PFCCAG teamed up to investigate the supply and demand for non-traditional hour (NTH) care in Family Child Care Learning Homes in Georgia. An amazing 25% of Georgia's FCC providers responded to the poll. Even more eye-opening was the demand highlighted in the results of the survey. Over ninety percent of providers indicated that they had been asked about providing NTH care, i.e., care outside of the standard times of 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Almost that same number of providers indicated that at some point, they had provided NTH for children in their care. You can download the full report here.
