From DiAnne:

Hello All,

I pray you are well. Yesterday the House Ways and Means committee hosted a hearing called "In their own words: paid leave, childcare and an economy that failed women."

NAFCC is offering us an opportunity to let Congress know that family child care is here. We should tell them in our own words what we want members of Congress to know about the work of child care.

Please fill out this form by Sunday, May 2. NAFCC will put family child care providers’ words into written testimony for the record, which means U.S. Representatives on the Committee, and their staff, will have a chance to read your words.

The House Ways and Means Committee has an important role to play as we #BuildChildCare together.

At NAFCC, our role is to make space for you to be heard everywhere decisions are made.

Let’s keep showing them the power of family child care, in your own words.

Please pass this along to every childcare professional you know.

Lets get our voices heard.
