Patricia Sullivant
Board Member
Patricia Sullivant has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Christian Counseling. Patricia serves on the Ministerial Staff at Grace CME and as a Senior Coach consultant with the Professional Family Child Care Alliance of Georgia (PFCCAG). She also serves as a member of the PFCCAG Board, as a DECAL Approved Trainer, as an advocate for Family Child Care, and as an expert in helping potential family child care providers start their in-home family child care business.
Patricia owned her own family child care business and then, due to a large waiting list, went on to open a small "family feel" child care center. Patricia then ventured out and started to work for Quality Care for Children, a Child Care Resource and Referral Agency of Georgia. She worked there for 41 years, where she worked with family child care providers and a team of dedicated staff. She was blessed to retire in 2020 but continues to stay linked with them and started devoting her time and attention to PFCCAG. Patricia has served as an NAFCC Accreditation Observer and a Professional Development Specialist for the National CDA Council.
Patricia's passions are seeing potential providers succeed in opening their businesses, supporting and empowering family child care providers, advocating for family child care, and assisting in providing a safe, nurturing, child choice, educational program where children learn and have experiences based on their developmental abilities. When Patricia is not working or involved in Church activities, she is active in the community feeding the hungry and spending time with her grandchildren.
