DiAnne Coggins

Board Member

DiAnne Coggins is a professional Family Child Care Director in Atlanta Georgia. DiAnne was born and raised in Ohio. She returned to College to obtain an Associate Degree in Early Childcare Education. Prior to her career in childcare, she worked as a Professional Meeting Planner, holding a CMP in the industry.  Her Family Child Care Center is licensed by the State of Georgia and is located in College Park. Over the years she has held several accreditations such as Quality Rated and National Accreditation For Family Child Care Centers.


DiAnne joined the Professional Family Child Care Alliance of Georgia in 2013, she held several positions: Newsletter Chairman, Advertising and Public Relations Director as well as Vice President.  Her mission is to provide children with a loving, safe, fun, stimulating and structured learning environment.


She is a childcare advocate and serves as Quality Rated Advisory Board member for several years as well as Peer Support Network Ambassador, PLC  Facilitator, NAFCC Observer, NAFCC State of Ga Representative, and enrolled as a NAFCC Leader Shaping Leaders mentor.


DiAnne's love of teaching started when she taught Meeting Planning courses at Georgia Perimeter College. She is still very active in the Meeting industry and belongs to the following organizations: RCMA, SGMP, AKA Sorority, Women of Distinction, and 100 Black Women of Metro Atlanta.
