Brigitte Willis

Vice-President

My name is Brigitte Willis, and I am a licensed family childcare educator in Grovetown, Georgia. My quality rated program has been in operation since 2018.

I attended Appalachian State University with a major in finance while living in North Carolina. I moved to Georgia in 2009 with my young son at the time. I was heavily involved with the Parent-Teacher Organization and Parent Advisory Councils on district and state levels with the Board of Education.

I decided to open my program because I wanted to be a high-quality childcare option for working families in this military town. I wanted to be an advocate for children, their families, and the education providers with policymakers. There is a lot to learn, but we are stronger together.

I joined the board for Professional Family Child Care Alliance of Georgia (PFCCAG) in October 2020 as membership chair. I was voted in as secretary in January 2021. I am currently serving as vice president of PFCCAG effective January 2023. I am very active and engaged in all matters regarding ECE and more specifically family childcare learning homes.
